Cain Carroll is a certified yoga instructor with a diverse background in wrestling, martial arts, dance, and meditation. His unique approach to yoga reflects a multicultural, multidisciplinary influence, which he uses to create an inspiring arena for personal enrichment, cultural understanding, and global transformation. He lives and teaches in Hawaii.Lori Kimata, N.D., comes from a rich background in dance, music, and art, which she integrates into her profession as a naturopathic physician, mid-wife, yoga instructor, and international guest lecturer. She has recently returned to her native Hawai'i to cultivate an open, sacred space to practice the "Art of Living Your Love."Ken Gray has been a professional photographer for 30 years. Gray began photographing yoga postures in 1988, marrying his passion for both yoga and photography. Gray's other photographic interests include helicopter aerial photography, tribal and native elders and cultures, children, and landscapes.

This is the perfect yoga book for couples of any kind. There are lots of poses, each detailed with photos and very good instructions. The advice about safety and how to get into/out of poses is particularly useful. There are also a few good routines and a good section on designing your own and practicing with a partner in general. Great book!

I can't judge the content, but for $20 I expected quality pictures.The content is all in Grays (no color), the quality seems to be the same as cheap advertising booklets, but with thicker paper.This was a gift, and it wasn't impressive at all, it wasn't good as a Valentines present (seemed too cheap).

This book is beautifully written, with great photography, but leans more toward those who are young, strong, and agile. Many of the poses offered look more acrobatic than yogic, but if you can begin working on them while you are young, they might someday be accessible. There is usable information an older or less experienced person would be able to glean from the text, but much of it is simply out of reach for those who are less supple or farther along in years.

This is exactly what I wanted. It shows a variety of simple to moderate poses for teaching classes. And it shows a few sequences at the end for suggestion.

I've been teaching yoga for 47 years and it's always difficult to come up with something that is accessible to all participants. This book fills that need by incorporating easy as well as difficult asanas and providing the instruction to get the job done. The photos are helpful and the presentation superb!
